Wow - that;s a real complement coming from you Shayma. I've been cooking regularly for years now, but the instinct really only kicked in over the last five years as i;ve come to trust myself to make snap judgements on what goes with what. I'm definitely more of an instinctual over scientific cook though - if in doubt I always go with my gut.

if you created this from instinct seems you have a bit of 'desi' or Pakistani in you ;-) it's a lovely combinations of spices- i like how you have added paprika to this dish. i shall definitely try it- i am sure my guests will not know what the secret ingredient is. x shayma

Good to hear about the add-on as it would be nice to print some of these yummy recipes. Also good to hear that you are a local - we are having another London Cooking Club in early March so I will give you a shout. The theme will be Vietnamese which I can see is just up your street.

Hey Luiz - thanks! I'm just up the road from Islington so that would be interesting indeed, tell me more.

I'm certain WordPress has a plugin for printing - that's one of the next things i intend to add along with a 'share' button. I'm adding these slowly as i get round to it and as i find the most usable add-ons. I'm also fussy about the control i get over how they look and feel. I'll make that my priority to find next.

This looks really good, and I loved the way you described the tomato base, chickpeas and aubergine "melange of flavour and texture". Maybe you should join one of our London Cooking Club evenings here in Islington. I wonder whether Wordpress has a function/widget or whatever they are called to print these yummy recipes? I got one via "Add This", it is easy to install, let me know if you would like to have it in your site.
